Promiseland Church, located on 703 Pattonsville Rd, Jackson, Ohio, is set upon a lush green hill, surrounded by trees as a beacon of light and hope in Jackson, Ohio. The interior of the church has been modernized, and despite outward appearances, the sanctuary speaks to our motto.

Promiseland Church has been growing and thriving in Jackson County since 2006. Promiseland Church is a Spirit-Filled Non-Denominational Church. All are welcome. We hold services two days a week. With special services announced throughout the year.

Our Mission

To share the love of Christ, help give hope for a brighter tomorrow, and bring encouragement to all those who hunger and trust for change. Though everyone’s journey is different and filled with mistakes, trials, errors, and redirecting, we know there is only one way to Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. We firmly believe that your past does not define your future.

Our Ministries

Children’s Church – (Littles and Middles) – Leader: Anne Parks

Fostering Jesus’ love by establishing early foundations for our children! Ages 4 – 11 (Nursery services available). We believe establishing early foundations in the church is essential. What to expect with your child: open with prayer, take attendance, and provide a snack. Thursdays, we learn about the bible. Sundays we teach a lesson and incorporate a game or craft.

Youth Ministry – Leaders: Judy and Shane Riffle

Youth ministry is for Middle and High School youth (12-17), where we focus on “Planting seeds, picking the weeds so something beautiful can grow” through learning our Bible to understand God’s love for us.

Young Adult Ministry – Pastor Teresa Parks

The Young Adults group is focused on connection, growth and strength. Diving into a new road of life as childhood smashes into adulthood – it’s designed to help refocus on the things in life that matter most. We work on learning Gods word as we discover the new journey of yourself and God.

Dance Ministry

Psalms 149:3-4 Let them praise His name with the dance. Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people. He will beautify the humble with Salvation .

To demonstrate the majesty, power, splendor and wonder of the Scriptures through movement. Through this we encourage the believer in their relationship with the Lord and draw the unbeliever to Him. We begin by encouraging ourselves in our love for God and each other. Through our dance and in all we do; we do it for the glory of God.

We vow to teach, encourage, and inspire others to worship God through the use of the movement arts. Rather than just learning the dance, as a dancer, I will listen to the Holy Spirit and move as He instructs. Through participation in this ministry, we seek to bring ourselves closer to God through prayer, bible study, fellowship, and discipleship, while creating loving relationships within our ministry. We are not here to entertain – only to Glorify God and minister to others.

Our Team

Roger Parks is passionate about Southern Ohio and was called to Jackson County for ministry. His compassion for the region has driven his call to reach people from all walks of life. He brings awareness of God’s true love and purposes back into the heart of Southern Ohio. When people are feeling lost or hopeless, Pastor Roger seeks to bring the light back into Jackson County for it to shine brightly
